She made everything so much easier: connecting us to excellent vendors and taking care of communication with them, helping us pivot (and stay calm) when there were inevitable contractor hiccups, and bringing her excellent eye to the new design while also respecting our personal tastes.

STAR FURNITURE INTERIOR DESIGN AND PLANNING
We worked with Kate McDonald at Interiors by Kate to make our new-build house a beautiful home. She is extremely easy to work with and so friendly. This was the first time we'd used a designer, so she spent quite a bit of time understanding our style and design preferences. She made paint recommendations, guided us through furnishing whole rooms (family room, primary bedroom, etc.), consulted on a custom media wall, and shopped for artwork and decor that pulled everything together. Kate knew exactly where to go bold on color or accents and where to use neutrals to keep the design cohesive. We are extremely happy with the results and really enjoyed the process.
